Where do I start?
When you know which room you are looking to put new floor coverings in, read our Choose By Room section to see what types of carpets we recommend. This then links through to each manufacturers page and their respective websites. From each manufactures page you can click on the ‘Next Step’ button to proceed.

Will somebody come out and measure?

Yes, we provide a free measuring service so we can gather all the information we need prior to the fitting of your new floor covering. Read the ‘Estimates’ section which is a guide to the whole process. Measures can be done either during the day or normally late afternoon/early evening.

Do I have to know what floor covering I want before you come out?

Ideally you will have narrowed your choice down to one or two therefore we know what we are measuring for and can highlight or offer any advice while we are on site.

Do your fitters work weekends?

No. Our showroom is open Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm, Saturday 9.00am - 2.00pm, Sunday - By Appointment Only and we are Closed on Bank Holidays. However our fitters only work on domestic jobs Monday - Friday and ideally we like to be arriving on site for our first job around 8.30am but earlier times can be arranged. Contract jobs can be fitted at times to suit the needs of the customer.

Do I have to be there when you are doing the fitting?

We prefer somebody to be there to let us in but customers have been known to drop keys into our showroom the day before so we can let ourselves in. Our fitters are happy, as long as the customer is, to be left in the house to do the job and lock up after they have finished. We would then post keys through the letterbox or bring them back to the showroom for collection, depending on your preference.

What if I am not entirely happy once the job has been completed?

If for some reason you are not happy then just contact us and we will endeavour to sort out any problems you have. If, for whatever reason we cannot sort out the problem we can either contact the manufacturer of the carpet if it is believed to be a fault and they will arrange to inspect it, they will then create a report which will be forwarded to both you and us. Depending on the findings, action can then be taken. If you are still not happy after the report or you still have a problem, then as we are part of the Carpet Foundation (backed by TSI), you can contact them and they will do the best they can to agree a mutually acceptable resolution.

How do I go about making payment?

We ask for a 25% deposit upon ordering and the balance paid on completion. You can either pay by cash, cheque or credit/debit card and this can be done over the phone or by calling into the showroom. Our fitters can only accept cash or cheques

What if I have a spillage/stain/accident etc?

Read our ‘Satin Guide’ section which contains a variety of methods to help clear any spillages/stains/accidents etc. If none of these methods seem to work then we recommend you get in touch with a professional cleaning company, of which most will be listed in the phone book.
